01.10.2024 Geopolitical risks and Fed signals drive market volatility
DAILY MARKET OVERVIEW
Crypto and Stocks React to Global Events
đ Hey Crypto Enthusiasts! October, or as crypto traders call it, Uptober, is upon us! However, both the crypto and stock markets are off to a shaky start.

đ US Stocks and Crypto Fall Sharply Amid Middle East Tensions
Both U.S. stocks and crypto slid today as concerns over escalating conflict in the Middle East weighed heavily on investors. The S&P 500 fell 0.7%, and the NASDAQ lost 1%. At the same time, Bitcoin retreated to below $64K after briefly topping $66K last week.
Reports of Iran preparing a missile strike on Israel have stoked fears of further destabilization in the region, with rising energy prices adding to inflation concerns.
At the same time, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell signaled a slower, more cautious approach to future rate cuts, following the September 50bp cut that initially lifted markets.

Powell emphasized that the Fed will monitor economic data before making further moves, with rate cuts likely to "play out over time."
While lower interest rates typically boost risk assets like stocks and crypto, Powell's cautious tone also contributed to todayâs market pullback.
Although some still expect two smaller 25bp cuts by yearâs end, the timeline remains uncertain.
Despite this volatility, institutions continue to stack Bitcoin. Metaplanet a Japanese investment firm, recently added 107.9 BTC to its holdings, bringing its total to 506 BTC worth approximately $32 million.
Stay tuned as we monitor how Octoberâs events shape the markets, bringing you the latest insights along the way.

CryptoRUs - Where Bitcoin is In The Cycle...Major Uptrend Incoming (01.10.2024 Summary)
George from CryptoRUs explains why he believes Bitcoin is positioned for a major uptrend.
Despite recent market dips due to political changes in Japan and U.S. Federal Reserve announcements, he remains optimistic about the coming months. Historically, October has been a strong month for Bitcoin, and with global liquidity injections on the rise, Bitcoinâs price could see substantial gains.
Retail investor activity is currently low, which George views as a positive since high retail involvement often signals market peaks. In contrast, institutional interest is growing, with nearly $1 billion flowing into Bitcoin-related products in just two days. Large Bitcoin holders, or "whales," are increasing, reflecting confidence from institutional investors.
George stresses that Bitcoin hasnât yet reached its peak, and the current cycle is still far from over. He attributes the potential for a big price surge to growing liquidity, strong institutional involvement, and favorable historical trends. He predicts that as retail investors return, altcoins will also rise, creating more opportunities in the market.

Ivan On Tech - UPTOBER SHOCKING TRUTH!!!!! (will it deliver or scam us) (01.10.2024 Summary)
Ivan kicks off with excitement for "Uptober," a historically strong month for Bitcoin, noting that despite recent dips, September ended with a surprising 7% gain.
Temporary setbacks like the Federal Reserveâs mixed signals and Middle East tensions have caused minor dips, but Ivan believes these are short-lived, and Bitcoin's bullish trend remains intact.
He predicts Bitcoin will soon bounce back to $67,000, driven by strong demand and institutional interest. Despite some sideways market movement, Ivan points to positive data showing that the broader crypto market remains strong, with potential for significant growth in the coming weeks.
Ivan then discusses global factors, noting that China's stock market is soaring due to massive stimulus, a sign that global liquidity is returning. He also speculates that tech billionaire Michael Dell could move into Bitcoin after selling $1.2 billion worth of stock, likening it to past predictions about Bitcoin that were initially dismissed but later proven true.
He shifts focus to the vulnerabilities of fiat currencies, using Lebanonâs economic collapse as an example of why Bitcoin offers a superior alternative. Ivan argues that Bitcoin is more resilient than traditional currencies, which are prone to inflation and government mismanagement.
